Floorplans

Gain insights as to what floorplans customers are seeking!

Add one of each floorplan style or add them all! Allow customers to choose the exact floorplan they would like to pre-qualify for or allow them to choose a style.

Add a Floorplan

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Apps tab in the navigation menu, then click Income Calculator.
  3. The Income Calculator Details page opens.
  4. Scroll down to the Floorplans section.
  5. Click the Add New Floorplan link. 
  6. The Floorplan details pop-up displays.
    1. Title: Enter the title or style of the floorplan. Example: Argos Plan, 1 Bed 1 Bath, or 1 Bed 1 Bath (804 sq. ft.). 
    2. Bedrooms: Select the number of bedrooms from the drop-down.
    3. Bathrooms: Select the number of bathrooms from the drop-down.
    4. Current Market Monthly Rent: Type the current rent.
  7. Click Create.
  8. The new floorplan is added to the Floorplans list.
  9. Click the pencil icon to edit the floorplan. 
  10. Enter the rent for each AMI percentage.
  11. Click Save.

The floorplan list is displayed in the answer drop-down menu for Question 3 of the Required Questions section.

Edit or Duplicate a Floorplan

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Apps tab in the navigation menu, then click Income Calculator.
  3. The Income Calculator Details page opens. 
  4. Scroll down to the Floorplans section.
    1. Edit: Click the pencil icon to edit or modify the floorplan details. Edit and modify the fields as needed following the instructions in Step 6 above.
    2. Duplicate: Click the copy or duplicate icon to duplicate the floorplan details. Edit and modify the fields as needed following the instructions in Step 6 above.

Remove or Delete a Floorplan

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Apps tab in the navigation menu, then click Income Calculator.
  3. The Income Calculator Details page opens. 
  4. Scroll down to the Floorplans section.
  5. Click the trashcan icon to the right of the floorplan to be removed.

The Income Calculator calculation selects the lower value between “Current Rent” and the maximum allowable rent defined by the AMI percentage.
