Offer and App Settings

Incentivize website visitors by creating compelling offers.

Add Offer Details

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Apps tab in the navigation menu, then click Spotlight. 
  3. The Spotlight page with existing offers opens in the main window.
  4. Click the Create a New Offer button.
  5. A modal window with the available offer templates populates.
  6. Select one of the templates. 
  7. The Spotlight: Add New page opens.
    1. Offer Title: This text appears as the primary offer text displayed in the app when clicked or expanded. This text is the largest text within the app. Example: 1 Month Free!* Note: There is a 25 character limit.
    2. Offer Description: This text appears below the Offer Title text and is a short description of or the full promotion offered. The text is displayed in smaller font size than the Offer Title. Example: Receive 1 Month Free When You Lease Today!* Note: There is a 70 character limit.
    3. Disclaimer Link Title: This text indicates if the offer or promotion has any restrictions or limitations. This text acts as a hyperlink if there is any content in the following Disclaimer Text field. This text is the smallest font size within the app. Example: *restrictions apply Note: There is a 70 character limit.
    4. Disclaimer Text: Type the full disclosure, offer details, and any additional restrictions or requirements to receive or be eligible for the offer displayed in the Offer Title and Offer Description fields. This content is displayed after a customer clicks on the Disclaimer Link Title. Note: There is a 500 character limit.
    5. Link: Users can add a link to their Spotlight offer's confirmation email here. In the email, this link displays differently depending on which offer template was used. 

  • Next, set or modify the app settings.
    1. App Offer Title: Text to be displayed on the module when the application is collapsed or minimized. Grab the attention of customers, for example "Special Leasing Offer!" Note: There is a limit of 25 characters.
    2. Call To Action: Button text to advance to the lead form that allows a customer to submit their details to claim an offer, for example "Claim this Offer!" Note: There is a limit of 25 characters.
    3. Lead Submission Button Text: Text to appear on the button of the lead details form that allows the customer to submit their details and progress to the question form. Note: There is a limit of 22 characters.
    4. Confirmation Text: Enter the text to be displayed following the submission of customer lead details and questions, for example "Congrats! You've claimed this offer!" Note: There is a limit of 50 characters.
    5. App Icon:
      1. Info icon: Notepad to display more details or information. 
      2. Default: Sale tag used for promotions and offers.

    1. Include Schedule Genie™ link in confirmation: This will add a link to the Schedule Genie™ app within the confirmation screen of the app.
      Note: This should only be selected if the Schedule Genie™ app is also enabled and set up. 
    2. Hide this offer on pages with specific offers: If another offer is running on specific pages, place a check in this box to ensure only one offer is delivered on those pages. This option is not available when path filters are enabled. Path filters identify which pages of the website the offer will be presented. 
  • Once the offer and application text have been set, follow the steps on the Qualification Questions page to create and choose which questions appear on the question form.
